Welcome to ReDoc- Our New Electronic Medical Records System
In an effort to give our clients the best experience and more of our time, we are switching to a new EMR to help streamline our scheduling, documentation, and billing practices.
There is always a little difficulty in change and we thank you for being patient as our system changes. Here are some of the features of our new system we are excited about!
Patient Portal: ReDoc includes a patient portal that will allow our clients to access their records, view upcoming appointments, access their home exercise program, complete forms, and request scheduling changes all in one place. In addition, we will be able to post your superbill and claim forms directly into your portal, allowing you to submit claims to your insurance much easier. Expect to see an email in the next few days inviting to you to join your patient portal.
Scheduling: Utilizing ReDoc’s scheduler will allow our therapists to connect each of your visits to your charted documentation, rather than being in a different system. Combined with the patient portal, you will be able to see how many visits you have attended, see all upcoming scheduled visits, and request appointment changes. If you are used to going through our website to schedule, you can still request appointments using the updated form.
New Exercise Program: ReDoc utilizes Exercise Pro Live for clients to view pictures and videos of their home exercise program. This can be accessed through the portal or email. There are some great new features which include tracking of when you complete exercises and incentives for logging in and completing your program.
Submitting Claims: For those clients that submit their claims to insurance, each treatment will generate a new “ SuperBill”. This document has your charges for the treatment and the codes needed for claim submission and can be submitted with your claim form. In addition, we can generate a claim form which you can print from your patient portal to make submitting claims much easier. You can do this for each individual treatment or as a batch, and no longer have to wait for a monthly statement of charges.
As we implement these new programs we will do our best to answer questions you may have in accessing the portal, submitting claims, and scheduling. Please be patient as we are still learning the new systems ourselves. We are confident that this new system will improve our workflow as well as your experience at Penrose Physical Therapy.
